The LDM Group is proud to announce that Dr. Neil Sirbadhoo has been promoted to Managing Director of the LDM Consulting division (LDMC).
As Managing Director of the LDM Consulting division, Neil will now concentrate on driving transformation, business re-engineering, investing in resources for growth, optimising management and operations, and expanding business opportunities.
Neil graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Property Development in 2007 and joined LDM Quantity Surveyors as a student in the final year of his tertiary studies. His tenure has now extended to 17 years of dedicated service with this leading nationwide organisation specialising in solutions for the built environment.
His passion for the industry, self-discipline, and ambition resulted in him obtaining an Honours Degree in Construction Management (2008) and his Professional Registration in Construction Project Management qualification (2014). Looking to further enhance his academic achievements, Neil went on to complete his Master of Science in Construction Management in 2015 before reaching the pinnacle of academic excellence with the attainment of his Doctor of Philosophy in Property Development in 2022. His doctoral research focused on an improved service delivery model through the implementation of the FIDPM in the South African public sector from the Project Manager’s perspective. Working as Managing Director, Neil fully immerses himself in both the management and day-to-day operations of LDM Consulting, including critical business development and procurement management components of the organisation’s activities.
In tandem with his overall LDM Group responsibilities, Neil has also long remained devoted to the world of academia, steadfastly delivering exceptional contributions to the project management academic body of knowledge through numerous research publications, both nationally and internationally. He brings to the built environment an unerring belief in loyalty, integrity, ethical business behaviour, and an unswerving passion for widely sharing his skills and expertise in project and programme management, policy development and implementation, as well as his wealth of experience in infrastructure delivery and
procurement management, in the quest to contribute meaningfully towards the continuous growth and development of the built environment sector
